Alex Pesusich (Co-founder of Groove Street Productions)

Alex Pesusich, originally from Denver Colorado, started his training in hip hop, jazz, ballet, and tap - but his training hasn't stopped there... Soon to follow was: house, locking, popping & breaking! Upon moving to Los Angeles, Alex worked as both a dancer and choreographer for many different recording artists.

Television and film credits include Fox's VIBE with Sinbad, where Alex choreographed and performed with artists such as Martha Wash of C+C Music Factory, Sharon Stone, LSG, Run DMC, DJ's Jazzy Jeff, DJ RUN and DJ Scribble.

Alex was able to share his choreographic skills with prime time audiences by choreographing an episode for "Kyle XY". Most recently, he choreographed (as well as made a cameo appearance in) the #1 single for Elise Estrada; "Insatiable". He also choreographed her Canadian tour opening up for Rhianna and Enrique Iglasias. Feature films Alex has worked on include: "Kickin' It Old School", (where he got to work along side one of the pioneers of locking, Shabba Doo), "Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed", "Reefer Madness", "The Score" and "Dr. Doolittle 3". Alex has choreographed for NBA dance teams The Denver Nuggets, the Los Angeles Lakers, the Portland Trailblazers, and the Sacramento Kings. He has choreographed for NFL dance and cheer teams; the San Diego Chargers, the Denver Broncos, the Jacksonville Jaguars, and the San Francisco 49ers. His fresh, laid back, yet hard working attitude has helped him to work with (choreographing and dancing in commercials and Industrials) Nike, Reebok, Adidas, McDonald's, Sugar Crisps, Wells Fargo, Super Lotto 7, and many more… Alex's notoriety as someone who has such a wide range of knowledge in almost all forms of hip hop dance, as well as years and years of practical experience has pushed him to the world stage by judging the 2007 World Hip Hop Championships held in Los Angeles. His choreographic, performing and teaching talents have brought him all over the globe: Los Angeles, NYC, Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Paris, Greece, Afghanistan, Dubai, England, Ireland, Scotland, Mexico, Japan, Germany, Croatia, Vienna, Rotterdam and Amsterdam. From award winning music videos; to the Soul Train Music awards; to teaching and sharing his gifts all over the planet, Alex feels blessed beyond words to have led such a wonderful working career. Alex is excited to share his knowledge and experience with all of the students at GSP and Street Groove! Alex teaches at GSP and Street Groove.
