Jolie Chan started her passion in fashion design in Vancouver, BC. She fuses east and west cultures in her creations. Her collections are made for females who would like to stand out and feel beautiful inside out. She established Jolie Couture in July 2006 to cater to trendy women who love the glamour of the fashion world. Within a year and a half, her company traveled from North America to Europe and the Orient. Shanghai, China and Cannes, France are a couple of destinations where her creations have been viewed. Her artistic and detailed designs incorporate intricate work with beading and feathers. She strives for excellence in fashion with a love to trend set. Her beautiful dresses are glamourous and elegant.

Jolie attained a Bachelor degree in "Fashion Design and Technology, and Fashion Marketing" from Kwantlen University. She was also schooled at Blanche MacDonald for her Diploma in "Makeup and Hair Styling". She also traveled to Europe and studied in a designing program at Evteck Institute in Helsinki, Finland. She earned a scholarship to study fashion in Milan, Italy for a Masters in Fashion Design. She was awarded Cannes Trophy in Shanghai Fashion Week to showcase her collection at the Cannes Shopping Festival. Jolie Chan has many achievements and is recognized for her talent in 3 different continents. Driven by her career goals, she is constantly learning and improving herself. Currently, she is studying for her Masters in Milan, Italy.

In her work, Jolie Couture has been involved with many industry-related people. She has also been featured in many magazines, newspapers and telivision shows. She has designed and worked with established celebrities in Shanghai and Vancouver. Jolie Couture participates in yearly fashion shows and charity events including causes for Breast Cancer, SPCA, Children's Hospital and Make Poverty History. Jolie Chan is an inventive and forward-conscious person who lives her life driven by her passion and constant desire to create beautiful work. With emphasis on style and quality, Jolie Couture has recently also created a casual line that caters to younger women who like to be fun and unique.
