Fatty Down has been honing his chameleon craft for over a decade now, performing both live and in the studio to become one of Canada's most exciting and freshest new talents coming up from the underground. The Nanaimo-based MC packs soul and positive energy in his ammunition, and continues to impress audiences with his unique sound, powerful stage presence and his contagiously feel-good music.
With the upcoming release of his upcoming album, entitled "Couches & Floors," Fatty Down is prepared to introduce his music to the masses and continue to build on his growing fan base. The album is a fusion of Fatty Down's tight raps and harmonic choruses mixed with soulful production. Fatty Down grew up on Vancouver Island and began rapping at the age of 15. A born performer with a poetic soul, he began creating mixtapes and rocking house parties and quickly realized that he had a talent for making people move and enjoy themselves with his music.

He joined forces with his brother Suga D and formed D-Dose in 98, releasing the critically acclaimed "Moments in Time", independently selling over 1ooo units hand to hand at shows. They would later join a group of likeminded rappers from Saskatchewan and formed Innersoulflow, releasing 2 albums and performing over 100 shows in the 3 years together.
Altogether He has independently released 6 albums to date, recording with the likes of Moka Only, Mos Eisley (Sweatshop Union), Zaki Ibrahim, Rob the Viking (Swollen Members), and Luckyiam.PSC (Living Legends). He has also become an opening favorite for many shows, gracing the stage with reputable acts such as Kinny Star, Sweatshop Union, Kyprios, Rascals, Maestro Fresh Wes, Chris Sheppard, A- trak (Kayne West's DJ) , Moka Only, City Planners, Ishkan, Kirby Dominant, Murs, The Grouch, Living Ledgends, Kirby Dominant, and more. His most recent album, entitled "Famous Nobody" (Legendary Entertainment), was produced by multiple Juno Award winner Moka Only (previously with Swollen Members), and has helped Fatty Down extend his fan base and tour more frequently. His new project "The Cookout" will showcase Fatty Down's unique sound help getting him out on more stages where he most feels comfortable.
