Ray has been keen in photography since jr. high, when he began taking all available graphics and photography courses. In 1996 he graduated from highschool with a District Scholarship for his achievements in his graphics and photography studies and practicums.

Immediately after high school, Ray entered the 2 year Professional Photography Program at Langara College. In 1998 Ray graduated with 10 others, from an initial class size of 29.

Since graduation, Ray has been working full time in both QC and Photographer positions, as well as providing freelance/volunteer/sponsor photography services to:
