Raugi Yu, Actor
Raugi Yu seems to have catapulted to international stardom overnight in his most recent role as Kam Fong on jPod. This hard-working actor has been involved in theatre, film and TV for almost 20 years. Raugi started his love for acting as a young man. He has participated in many theatre productions. He was born and raised in Montreal. He has made his home in Vancouver for over 10 years.
Raugi graduated from the Dome Theatre in Montreal and the BFA Acting Program at UBC. He has acted as the King in the King and I for Theatre Under the Stars. For Bard on the Beach, he was an actor and acting coach. He has guest starred in TV series such as Dark Angel, Da Vinci's Inquest, Dead Like Me, Eureka and Intelligence. He is the Cook in Sagwa, the Chinese Siamese Cat.

Raugi's family, friends and fans think of him as the coolest and funniest. Although he projects a rough and unconcerned attitude at times, he is actually a person who prides himself on sticking to his moral values. This honest quality about him is apparent in the connections he forms. Raugi Yu has a certain charm and charisma that is infectious. Even in his role as the diabolical Kingpin Kam Fong in jPod, he is able to capture his audience's attention and affection for this sinister character. His subtle ways have massive impact and make you quiver in your seats. All in all, he is a loving father to two beautiful children and husband to his lovely supportive wife Sandi. He is undeniably a role model as he lives his life sticking to his values and passion. I have read that he loves stories about heroes and villains especially the mutant ones like X-Men, Cable and New Mutants. "I enjoyed the fact that eventhough all these characters had extraordinary powers and abilities, which we would love to have in our own life, they were all subject to some kind of code of humanity which made me think that that was what was most important of all." -Raugi Yu
